Akuni Adventures has been offering ORCKA courses since 2000. All our instructors are certified ORCKA instructors with years of practical experience teaching outdoor education and guiding a variety of outdoor adventures.
ORCKA Basic Instructor:
Course date(s): ORCKA Basic Canoe Instructor May 30th & 31st, and June 6th & 7th 2026 (Two weekends) Plus assignments which are due prior to May 30th.
The practical session which will run 8:30 am to 8:00 pm on the first Saturday, then 8:30 am to 5:00 pm all other days. Be prepared for a long day.
Please note that there are pre-course assignments. We suggest you sign up no less than two weeks before the course start date or it will be difficult for you to complete the assignments.
