If you enjoy canoeing, have Basic Canoeing experience tandem or solo experience, want to improve your skills, and would like to skillfully assist other canoeists, this combination instructor course will certify you to teach:
·Safe Canoeing, and Basic Canoeing Levels 1-3 (Tandem) as a BC Instructor 1, and/or
·Safe Canoeing, and Basic Canoeing Levels 1-4 (Tandem and Solo) as a BC Instructor 2
(Note that these 2 certifications (changed in the new 2026 program) require different prerequisites.)
This BCI course can help you earn income - while teaching what you enjoy doing!
Free camping is available onsite at the quiet waterfront course location. Indoor and outdoor washrooms are available, and an indoor shower is available if the clean lake water is too fresh! Participants will be in charge of their own food and prep. A large kitchen with 2 stoves, 2 fridges, 2 freezers, and 2 microwaves is available, along with a barbeque or bring your own campstove or cook on the firepit! Enjoy your meals in the comfort of a large screened-in gazebo with 3 picnic tables for participants’ use.
