*No prior experience needed.* Basic Canoeing Level 1 is an introduction to canoeing for all ages, but younger children should have an adult participate with them. The candidate will demonstrate safe behaviour and basic maneuvers while becoming comfortable paddling a tandem (2-person) canoe and learn about rescues. This half day course includes canoe, paddles and course materials. Please bring your own properly fitted PFD (Personal Flotation Device).
